Meet founder, Hibah Alam.

Hibah is a high school senior from Austin, Texas. She is a varsity Lincoln-Douglas debater on her school’s debate team, specializing in ethical philosophy. She has taught over 25 successful novice and varsity debaters in the areas such as argumentative writing, speaking, research, philosophy, sociology.She has been tutoring students in various subjects for almost 6 years and expanded to tutoring in areas around the world, including Charity Center, Zambia and Mukono, Uganda 3 years ago. As a passionate writer, speaker, and reader, she realized the importance of educating students in the areas of argumentative writing and speaking in order to propel their academic and professional careers. Thus, she launched The Communicators’ Workshop project in schools in the US, Zambia, and Uganda. She aims to strengthen students’ communication skills both in and out of the classroom and empower students to advocate for change in their communities.

These are the schools we currently work with. Some schools are in partnership with the Learning Centers of the non-profit organization, Village Book Builders. We are working towards expanding the project to more locations.
